Ami Maes

Ami holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Art Education K-12 + a professional license in Art Education K-12 with the State of Colorado. She enjoys creating an engaging environment that sparks creativity, self-expression and fun! Ami’s eighteen years of experience includes instructing artists from preschool-adult for well known art organizations in Colorado including: Anderson Ranch Art Center in Aspen-Snowmass, Aspen Art Museum, Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, The Art Base aka Wyly Community Art Center in Basalt and within the Roaring Fork School District from 1999 - 2017, specifically instructing Visual Arts in Carbondale, CO. Ami is the recipient of the “Mary Ellen Nix- Art Educator of the Year Award” presented by the Aspen Art Museum. She was recently invited to join an international group of art bloggers called the Rockin' Art Moms and is very excited about this new venture!
